MEET BOB HOWARD
A lifetime of work. A record of service.
Bob Howard is a third-generation carpenter and small farmer with a long history of service to his community.
He served six years on the Will County Board and eight years as Washington Township Supervisor. During that time, he worked to support responsible and compassionate budgets and expand services that directly impact residents, including transportation options for seniors.
a note from bob:
I’ve spent most of my life working with my hands as a carpenter and small farmer, and I understand what it means to show up and get the job done.

Public service, to me, has always been an extension of that. It is not about politics. It is about making sure things work the way they should for the people who rely on them.

When I served on the County Board and as Township Supervisor, I focused on practical things, responsible budgets, reliable services, and making sure people could get the help they needed without unnecessary barriers. That is still how I approach this work.

I am a cancer survivor. That experience changed how I see a lot of things, especially the importance of access to healthcare, early detection, and support systems that people can actually count on. It also reinforced something I already believed, that time matters, and how we choose to use it matters.

I am running again because I believe local government works best when it stays focused on what matters most. Safe roads. Responsive services. Clear decisions. And a willingness to listen before acting.
I am not interested in creating noise or chasing headlines. I am interested in doing the work, paying attention to what people are experiencing, and following through.
